there are 2.54 centimeters to the inch. write a program that asks you to enter your height in inches and then displays your height in centimeters.
It is inappropriate to ask someone to do your entire project for you. With that being said, I will assist you for this very simple project.
int main( int argc, char *argv)
// note that this expects the number of inches on the command line
if( argc != 2 )
printf("ERROR: Unexpected format/n Use the format: %s <number of inches>/n/n",argv);
result = (float) atof( argv ) * 2.54;
printf("%f inches is %f centimetersnn", atof( argv ), result);
** I didn't test this, but it is close if it doesn't already work.
